About the Event
This training is intended to familiarize providers with LTSAE resources for families and providers. It also includes the CDC Learn the Signs. Act Early. 1-hour training modules that can be used as continuing education credit for those who complete it. The training will be conducted by Montana’s Act Early Ambassador, Marcy Hanson, and will be supported by the Montana Act Early Team co-lead, Kaitlin Fertaly. The training will be online and scheduled to meet the needs of the providers participating in the program. All sessions will also be recorded.
Milestones matter! Early childhood education and care providers know that how a child plays, learns, speaks, acts, and moves for his or her age are important signs of a child’s healthy growth and development. Early childhood providers are also likely to encounter children with developmental disabilities because they are common—1 in 6 children have a developmental delay or disability. Early childhood educators and care providers can benefit from additional tools and resources when talking with parents about their child’s development.
