How to Engage with Families around Consultation: Intro to IECMHC

In this course, participants will learn the basic elements of Infant Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation (IECMHC). Participants will discuss how to meaningfully engage families as partners during the Infant Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation (IECMHC) process. The course will cover how to introduce IECMHC to families, how to handle difficult conversation, family and provider boundaries and how to create partnerships built on collaboration and mutuality. Participants will have the chance to practice these skills in the classroom.
