About the Event
In Montana, water is a big part of our recreational life, but it comes with risks. Additionally, we have a diverse climate that allows for outdoor activities year round, which can be harmful to your skin! This class will provide open & closed water safety tips, teach you how to “Be Sun Smart” and also provide melanoma awareness education.
In this course, participants will:
Learn open and closed water safety tips and where to seek further education and resources.
Gain skills to help yourself and other become sun smart and protect yourself and others.
Learn the difference between the three main types of skin cancer and when to seek treatment.
Participants will receive 2hrs of ECP credit.
