About the Event
In Montana, water is a big part of our recreational life, but it comes with risks. Additionally, we have a diverse climate that allows for outdoor activities year round, which can be harmful to your skin! This class will provide open & closed water safety tips, teach you how to “Be Sun Smart” and also provide melanoma awareness education.
In this course, participants will:
- Learn open and closed water safety tips and where to seek further education and resources.
- Gain skills to help yourself and other become sun smart and protect yourself and others.
- Learn the difference between the three main types of skin cancer and when to seek treatment.
Participants will receive 2hrs of ECP credit.
