MT Resources and Tools to Help You Best Support Young Children with Disabilities

The director of the Montana Family to Family Health Information Center will share statewide resources, how her organization can help families just starting on the journey of navigating disability, and some common questions her Center receives. MonTECH's Outreach Coordinator will follow with information about Montana's free assistive-technology and adaptive equipment loan program. You'll see examples of equipment to help little ones self-regulate, communicate, and learn.

1. Attendees will learn about at least three resources available to help young children with disabilities and how to access them. 2. Attendees will get answers to some frequently asked questions received by the MT F2F HIC. 3. Attendees will see a broad sampling of tools and equipment available to borrow for young children they serve, and leave knowing exactly who qualifies for MonTECH's help and how to access the program."

Participants will earn 2hours of ECP credit.
