The training will be conducted by Montana’s Act Early Ambassador, Marcy Hanson, and will be supported by the Montana Act Early Team co-lead, Kaitlin Fertaly. Milestones matter! Early childhood education and care providers know that how a child plays, learns, speaks, acts, and moves for his or her age are important signs of a child’s healthy growth and development. Early childhood providers are also likely to encounter children with developmental disabilities because they are common—1 in 6 children have a developmental delay or disability. Early childhood educators and care providers can benefit from additional tools and resources when talking with parents about their child’s development.
